Pulau Selingaan is located north-east of Sandakan, lying some 40 Km away Speedboat on Pulau Selingaan near the Philippines border and Sandakan is only about 35 minutes flight from Kota Kinabalu.

The boat trip starts from the Sandakan harbour and the journey takes around 2.5 to 3 hours to reach the island. A speed boat with a 100 H.P engine can reach the island in 45 minutes.

The island only accept 60 visitors per day.
