Tips for Sipadan island:

• Since year 2005, Sipadan island does not offer on island accommodation in order to protect the island. Visitors can only opt to say in the nearby islands or on the mainland Semporna.
• Dragon Inn is one of the reputable and popular budget rest house offering bed from RM 15 or room from RM 70 per night.
• It normally cost around RM 220 to RM 250 for 1 day diving trip, which include 3 dives and lunch. For snorkeling, it will cost around RM 150.
• North Borneo Drive and Uncle Chang are among the reputable dive operators.
• All divers must bring along your diving certificates, eg: PADI.
• You can go to Pulau Nunukan of Indonesia from Semporna, ticket RM 25, the journey takes about 1.5 hours.
